UB helps high school girls who are seeking to become
leaders of character and confidence.
Monthly Meetings
4th Saturdays of the month
12:30-3:30
at Sheridan STudy Center
The monthly sessions combine hands-on activities, discussion forums, guest speaker presentations, field trips, and service projects to create a venue for the participants to grow in self-confidence, while accepting a challenge to become an agent of change, all in an atmosphere of friendships.
Mentoring
Each participant has a mentor who helps her apply what she learned during the monthly sessions to her own circumstances, formulate goals, and navigate the challenges she encounters.
All new mentoring component: Meet the mentors the first session, and list the ones you think you will "click" with. We'll give you a mentor based on your list. Mentees are welcome to come early to each session to meet with their mentor.
