Classes on Catholic Doctrine

This series of seminars which address philosophical and theological issues as they pertain to the Catholic Faith and daily living. It will cover the main tenets of the teachings of the Catholic Church, following the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

Are the Classes for Catholics only?

The course is designed for women who feel a strong need to know better and to transmit to future generations the faith of all times. We also welcome women of any creed, interested in knowing about the Catholic Faith.

Is it a theology course?

The main source for this course is the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Reference is also made to the preaching of Saint Josemaría, a master of the spiritual life for lay people and an inspiration for a theological understanding of daily life.

Is this course for married women only?

The course is open to women of any age, single or married. College students are also welcome.

Who teaches the classes?

The presenter for the Moral Teaching classes will be a priest of Opus Dei. Those for the Creed and Sacraments are Sheridan residents who have completed the corresponding theological studies.

Is there a fee?

No, there is no fee for the classes. However, we welcome any voluntary donations, to help defray the equipment and material expenses

Whom should I contact if I have further questions?
